Under the guidance of Larry Pankewicz, son of the founder and a graduate of the University of Alberta’s engineering school, the company has aggressively expanded its services and capabilities to keep pace with the every-changing needs of the oil industry.
With its state-of-the-art equipment and expertise, Pile Base can handle virtually any pile driving requirements in a variety of environments. More than that; it can move, build, install, service and supply a large range of oilfield equipment. From road construction and bridge building to installing pumpjacks, compressor stations – in fact, virtually any oilfield requirement – Pile Base has the personnel, expertise and equipment to handle the job.
From its base of operations in Drayton Valley, Pile Base Contractors is positioned to supply the equipment and services the oil industry of today needs; when and where they are needed. Its fleet of winch trucks can haul anything from small drilling rigs to heavy duty oilfield equipment. Pile Base maintains its own fleet of trucks to haul piling pipe and can supply up to 45 ton cranes, crane mounted pile drivers, welders, bobcats, small cats for blade work and towing, back hoes, track hoes, drill truck for pre-drilling piling holes in hard soils like sandstone as well as the operators and crews needed to run this equipment.
Pile Base Contractors also offers a range of rental equipment such as portable engineer’s trailers, rig matting, pipe racks and tanks.
